Goodness it has been a long time since I added to this...... must have been quilting.

Lynne Nancy and I have been slowly making Blindman's Fancy block for a three way swap.
We will each make 15 blocks, keeping five and swapping the other ten.

At last I have my 15 finished.

I had planned to use the same fabrics in each set of three, but as usual with me making two block the same is almost impossible. I am sure this is a hang over from Dear Jane where it was fun to have each block different.

In the last year I made a Kaffe Fassett quilt, there was only two block, it almost drove me spare, at least the fabrics changed in each block. One day I will get around to sharing the pictures with you.

Please enjoy my BMF Blocks.

Lynne and Nancy, if any of the block tickle your fancy and you would like that block, let me know the number and I will pop your name on it.

Absolutely

After a false start with Nearly Insane Quilt, I have now 14 blocks of the new colour scheme made. Naturally it is using strong red as the feature. I really tried to be a scrappy-multi-coloured- person with this quilt but just couldn't do it.
Enjoy my progress, I am getting into the swing of making these little treasures.

I am starting a new really quite over the top quilt, as the blocks get made I will post them so you can see. The quilt is called Nearly Insane, from a book by Liz Lois, based on the 1870's quilt created by Salinda Rupp. Wish me luck as another journey down the road of another outrageous over the top quilts begins.......
